Chicago Police Department, thus contributing to prevention of crime and creating positive atmosphere in the community.

Join 15th Ward AldermanToni Foulkes, 17th Ward Alderman Latasha Thomas, 18th Ward Alderman Lona Lane,
Lithuanian Human Services, the Marquette Park Special Service Area (SSA) #14 Commission and Advisory
Committee members and the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development for an important presentation
and discussion on the proposed renewal and of the Marquette Park SSA #14, which has been in existence
and providing important community services since 1993.
As a stakeholder affected by the proposed renewal of SSA #14, you are invited to participate in a presentation
and discussion to learn more about this innovative, locally driven economic development program. For the past
XX years, the Marquette Park SSA has levied a small additional tax to primarily fund additional security services.
SSA #14 is locally administered with oversight by a local Commission made up of property owners,
residents and other stakeholders. Over 1200 SSA districts operate nationally. There are 37 active SSAs in the
City of Chicago which work to create and maintain attractive, safe and healthy communities.
There is no proposed change to the existing boundaries.

Please remember: the Marquette Park Security Patrol does not take the place of the Chicago Police.

WEST: east side of Kedzie Ave.
EAST: B&O Railroad at Bell Ave.
NORTH: south side of 67th Street
SOUTH: Belt Railroad at 75th Street
